While many people show up to work everyday as a means to earn a paycheck, it is important to take pride in what you do. Nowhere is this more important than on a conference call. The people on the other line will notice when you are excited about the work you are doing and, as a result, will be more likely to sign a deal.
So the question is, how does one convey a sense of pride without coming off as overly arrogant? The answer is to tout the value of the product or service you are selling and reflect honestly about why you feel this way. Saying something like, "Now just on a personal level, I couldn't be more pleased with what my company is doing right now. I literally feel like jumping up and down and screaming!" This will not only inject humor, but also highlight whatever it is you are trying to sell.
By having a positive attitude and being comfortable with your business plan, more and more customers could come your way. There is nothing more desirable to prospective clients than a business professional who believes in what they are doing.
